Congressional leaders are racing to finalize a spending bill after Tuesday but feel the still at odds for a host of controversial issues – delaying offers unveil the proposal and raising it is likely that weekend votes to prevent yourself from a shutdown.
Democrats, Republicans additionally, the White House battled late on the night Monday and into Tuesday afternoon over whether or not to include provisions on President Donald Trump’s border wall, a huge Big apple infrastructure project and the special counsel’s Russia investigation, in line with lawmakers and aides within both parties.

The White House remains unmoved, however.

Another sticking point: immigration. There exists a Gateway project financing question," said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), a conservative leader. "It appears as if a lot of those things aren’t going to be inside, that is a good step, but it really still spends a lot of money."
