Telkom said on Thursday which it has reached a partnership with Netflix to obtain the global streaming giant’s service on its LIT set-top box.
“The partnership is Netflix’s first such agreement that has a South African telecommunications company and a significant milestone when the company seeks to give South African consumers the modern technologies in addition to a great entertainment experience,” Telkom said in a very statement.
“As a start, we are able to interact with customer requests to the inclusion of Netflix on Telkom’s LIT TV box,”?said content?executive Wanda Mkhize said. Netflix might be available on the set-top box later this season.
She said the teams work on “exciting mobile and broadband service offerings for being launched prior to end of the year. These should include enhanced LIT video options and knowledge offerings.”? – (c) 2018 NewsCentral Media
