Deloitte deliver 10k bonus to Yorkshire Air Ambulance Magazine

Staff within the Leeds’ office of business advisory firm Deloitte have risen 10,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Last June, the rapid response emergency service was selected as Deloitte in Yorkshire’s charity partner for an additional 24 months from vote via the 480 staff during the firm’s City Square offices.

Since then, staff are raising necessary funds using a collection of activities from the traditional dress down days and bake sales, to the more adventurous along with a sponsored 14-mile canoe challenge.

Helen Kaye, Partner and company Responsibility Lead at Deloitte in Yorkshire, said: “From the 480 people located in our Leeds office we have seen some fantastic fundraising efforts to help you Yorkshire Air Ambulance in their search for save lives round the county.

“Through our corporate responsibility programme at Deloitte goal to spend time playing a proactive role in aiding our local charity contend with key organisational challenges, not only raising funds, but in addition by means of some time and expertise through volunteering and pro-bono support.”

Yorkshire Air Ambulance serves 5 million people across the county and attends in excess of 1,000 incidents 12 months. The charity has up to now airlifted over 6,800 individuals major trauma centres over the county.

The rapid response emergency service has now placed the transaction for two, innovative state-of-the-art replacements for its current ageing aircraft C G-SASH and G-CEMS – that could decide on the skies over Yorkshire later this year.

The latest generation Airbus H145 helicopters will deliver paramedics a bit more modern medical fit-out to relieve and transport often critically injured patients.
