Pelosi fires back at Trump over Dreamers remark

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi slammed President Donald Trump on Saturday for claiming that she "doesn’t truly care" about so-called Dreamers.

"I go on to tell individuals who the President likes you Dreamers since he has stated repeatedly which he does," Pelosi (D-Calif.) wrote on Twitter. "He could prove it by supporting bipartisan proposals in your house and Senate."

Pelosi added whenever Trump is unable to keep his word, "will probably be impossible to believe him on anything."

The president, because has before, claimed that Democrats really don’t love children paid by an Obama-era immigration order that delivers quasi-legal status and work permits to foreigners who entered the U.S. illegally as children. Trump canceled this method not too long ago plus its technically set to expire on March 5, but a federal court ruling and then actions with the Trump administration have allowed people currently beneath the program to resume their status if it expires in March or later. New applications usually are not being accepted.

"Dems won’t be talking DACA! ‘Out of sight, away from mind,’ they say. DACA beneficiaries really should not happy," Trump wrote on Twitter previously Saturday. "Nancy Pelosi truly doesn’t care about them. Republicans stand all set to generate a deal!"

The Senate never pass an offer on Dreamers recently. Democrats are actually looking to pass the DREAM Act for decades, which led then-President Barack Obama to issue his executive order on DACA.
