Leeds-based thebigword, the worldwide language services company, has won both biggest interpreting contract in great britan C a 120 million, four-year contract to give face-to-face and telephone interpreting to your Ministry of Justice C along with the contract to present translation and transcription services.
Under the sale, the firm will provide expert linguists to courts, tribunals, prisons, the probation service and other organisations during the justice sector, which include CPS and Police forces.
The deal follows another 60 million, four-year contract win recently to deliver similar services to central Government organisations like the DWP, House, MoD, UK Border Force, NHS and HMRC.
The linguists who currently work to keep the justice system will find improved working conditions, having access to thebigword’s acclaimed training programmes and opportunity to assist the business’s 7,500 other public and private sector clients.
Additionally, the MoJ contract needs the progression of a trainee scheme, along with the Independent Quality Assurance supplier, that will provide career opportunities achievable and existing linguists.
The contract was in the past held by Capita TI and also a quantity of their staff may also be used thebigword included in the deal.
